Fifty Shades of Grey is one of the most talked about novels to hit shelves in quite awhile, and fans of the erotic story written by British author E.L. James have long been clamoring about who will bring the characters to life on the big screen.

Casting ideas for the young and naive Anastasia Steele, who falls for business entrepreneur Christian Grey, have been swirling, and the latest rumor has Anna Kendrick as the front-runner for the lead role. The Oscar-nominated actress (Up in the Air) stopped by Bravo's Watch What Happens Live! and dodged questions about being attached to the project.

One viewer of the show, however, wasn't going to let her off the hook and called in to talk about a specific scene from the book, which shocked the star.
"Who wouldn’t want to be tied up by a hot guy, right?" the caller boldly asked. Anna looked bashful and laughed, saying she hadn't read the novel.
