Typecast as the girl-night-door-turned-princess-overnight thanks to the overnight success of Disney’s "The Princess Diaries," it wasn’t until Anne Hathaway took on the role as a gay cowboy’s wife opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in "Brokeback Mountain" that she broke through that tiara. Anne then went on to star in box office hit after box office hit with movies like "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Love & Other Drugs." However, Anne started receiving more attention from the media than she wanted when it was discovered her then-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was charged with fraud and money laundering. She kept her head held high and her hard work finally paid off - her performance in Rachel Getting Married landed her a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Actress.
