Anne Hathaway Didn't Look at Herself in Batman Catsuit: "I Thought it Might Stress Me Out"

Anne Hathaway appeared on The Today Show this morning to chat with Matt Lauer about playing Catwoman in the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises.

Still sporting her cropped pixie cut, she gushed about director Christopher Nolan and had a tough time picking out her favorite part of filming. She finally admitted particularly enjoying the athleticism of playing a superhero.
"I loved the fighting," she admitted. "It turns out I really love to kick. That was the thing I loved. When they told me I had the role they didn't ask me to lose weight they told me to get strong."
Speaking of losing weight, she also divulged that playing Fantine in Les Misérables was her toughest role yet. Anne reportedly lost about 25 pounds from her already slender frame to play the starving prostitute suffering from tuberculosis.

So did she like the way her famed catsuit fit? Did she look in the mirror and see her hours at the gym pay off?
"It was a little too big, and I thought I might stress myself out if I focused too much on how it was looking," she said. "I just focused on how I felt in it."
The Dark Knight Rises opens on July 20.
