Anne Hathway is a strong woman — not only did she admit to doing all her Catwoman stunts for The Dark Knight Rises, but the A-list actress also chopped off her long, luscious locks for her role as Fantine in the upcoming movie-musical, Les Misérables.
So, did she cry when she saw her new hairdo for the first time? Oh, she reveals she did more than just cry!

"I wasn't expecting it to be a big deal; it was my idea to do it," Anne told Kelly Ripa and Seth Meyers on Live! with Kelly yesterday. "It’s something I wanted to do for a long time and it’s something the character did, so I just offered it to the director... But then I realized I couldn't take it back."
"I’ve now done backflips out of windows, I've jumped off of buildings — and cutting my hair reduced me to, like, mental patient-level crying. I was inconsolable."
Although the shock was enough to bring her to tears, Anne admits she's grown up a bit and is a tough cookie ever since playing Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's last film in his epic Batman franchise, The Dark Knight Rises.
"There's two stunts in the movie I don't do... but everything else I did," Anne told David Letterman last night.

"Les Misérables director Tom Hooper shows me this stunt and we had a stuntwoman, but I’m like, 'Why don’t you let me do it?' and he was making a fuss, saying, 'You couldn’t possibly,'" Anne explained.
"And I went to the producer and said, 'Tom doesn’t want me to do it, but I really think I can,' and they really defer to Tom, and I was, like, 'Don’t make me say it, no, really, don't make me say it....' I’m, like, 'Guys, I’m Catwoman!'"
