Anne Hathaway must be thanking her lucky stars she tossed ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri to the curb when she did. On Thursday, a court sentenced the Italian businessman to four and a half years in prison for fraud.
Follieri, 30, pleaded guilty in September to fraudulently obtaining $2.4 million by misleading investors to believe he had Vatican connections that enabled him to buy the Roman Catholic Church's unwanted U.S. properties at a discount.

The Devil Wears Prada star admitted to being shocked by the scandal, telling W Magazine she felt like "a rug was pulled out from under me" when Follieri was arrested in June.
