NEWSANTM Audition Ends in Chaos

These days it seems some people will do anything for their shot at stardom, including starting a fight at an audition for America's Next Top Model in NYC.
While it's still unclear what caused the brawl that resulted in six injuries and three arrests for disorderly conduct and inciting a riot, host and supermodel Tyra Banks isn't happy about the results.
"We are concerned by the events that occurred Saturday afternoon in the vicinity of the New York City casting call for the next cycle of America's Next Top Model," Tyra said in a joint statement with executive producer Ken Mok.

"At this time, we still don't know all the details of what happened or what triggered the incident. We appreciate the efforts of the NYPD and will assist them in any way possible in this matter," the statement said.
The audition was shut down after the melee, authorities said.
