The Fox hit from 2003 to 2006 starring Jason Bateman, Michael Cera and Portia de Rossi is staging a comeback! The cult hit's creator, Mitchell Hurwitz, announced a new spin-off yesterday for Arrested Development at The New Yorker Festival.
According to ABC, Mitchell indicated, “We’re all game. We’ve hated being coy, but we’ve been trying to put together this ambitious idea.” As for what the ambitious idea specifically entails? The new series will have about nine or 10 episodes focusing on each character in the Bluth family which leads into the first scene of an Arrested Development movie! At that point the extended cast will be reunited.

OK! NEWS: ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT STAR DAVID CROSS TO JOIN CAST OF MODERN FAMILY
It may take a while to get off the ground because shooting won't begin until next summer and there's no specific date as to when the movie will be released. Although the cast has proceeded with their stellar careers including Juno, Archer, and more projects, many of them have indicated they wanted to continue their roles in the dysfunctional Bluth family.
