Arrested Development Star David Cross to Join Cast of 'Modern Family'

While we thought there was no way ABC's Modern Family could possibly get any funnier, it seems we're wrong — Arrested Development star David Cross will be joining the already hilarious cast of the popular show.
David will play a city councilman named Duane in a recurring role on Modern Family, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
According to the report, David will be duking it out with Julie Bowen's character, Claire, over a topic that has yet to be revealed.
