So hands-down… The summer is my absolute favorite time of year! I'm a beach bunny when I get the time: sun, sand and surf... I'm all about it! But us girls have to look cute doing it ... because there are selfies to be taken!!!! (Raise your hand if you're an Instagram Queen!)

Summer is when I get to be cute and trendy and fierce at the same time. And I'm not just talking about being fierce in the ring, I'm talking about rocking a summer style like a champion!

First thing you need is ... confidence! In the words of my fellow WWE Superstar and Smackdown Live Women's Champion Naomi, you've got to feel the glow! But no matter how daring I get, I always stick with basics no matter what season it is. I like to lighten it up with whites and color. A pop of color like fuchsia and pink are great choices for a flowing sundress, with bare shoulders.  Also I'm all about nudes! Nude strappy sandals and flats will make your legs look long and they'll always compliment a great pair of cut off jean shorts or a jean skirt. True Religion makes my favorite jean skirts and shorts. I love pairing a boyfriend top/work shirt and casually unbutton it with a simple tank underneath. And you can always tie the button up shirt at the bottom or leave it open.

I'm in love with simple spaghetti strap dresses with a V- cut, made from a comfy cotton... Nikki Bella knows how to rock these perfect dresses for summer, and nude or burnt sienna suit almost any skin tone. You can also add a cropped jacket, shrug or chunky sweater with these babies to dress up or dress it down! It's all in the dress.

My go-to style guru in the locker room at WWE is the Ravishing Russian, Lana (and she's also a cast mate of mine on Total Divas. Did I mention she threw a shotput through the windshield of my car?! That's another story for another day!) Lana always has the cutest outfits that look effortless... and she's confided in me that a lot of her clothing is super affordable but often looks really expensive.

I'm obsessed with Lana's love of jumpsuits and rompers. She said that jumpsuits are her go to because you can dress them up or dress them down and they travel so well because they're so comfy! Cotton or silk, rayon or linen.... make a jumpsuit your own! You can wear flat sandals with them or pair them with a kitten heal that will certainly bring out your inner Kate Middleton like nobody's business!

What's most important for a fun, carefree summer style is staying true to you- and wearing what makes you feel most comfortable in your own skin. Being YOU is the best style rock not just for summer but any day of the year.
