Bachelor Brad Womack & Emily Maynard: Reunited...But For How Long?

There was no PDA, but Brad Womack and Emily Maynard came together for a tense lunch at Oasis restaurant in Austin, Texas, on April 29. “She was here for the weekend without her daughter,” a friend of Brad tells OK!. “They just need a little time together.”

As OK! has previously reported, the couple, who became engaged during The Bachelor’s season 15 finale, has split, and Emily even returned the engagement ring Brad gave her on the show. Although they haven’t been seen together in weeks, Brad isn’t giving up hope and he convinced Emily to fly out and reconsider.

“Brad has been laying on the charm and it’s getting to her,” says an insider. “Emily was all set to move on but he just does not want to let her go and he’s been doing everything in his power to get her back.”

The biggest issue standing in the way of a full reunion is Emily’s reluctance to move from Charlotte, N.C. — where she lives with her 5-year-old daughter, Ricki — to Austin. Her hesitation surprised Brad and hurt his feelings. “Brad can’t understand why she wouldn’t have been up front about that,” the insider explains.
