Love Is Officially Dead: Ben Higgins & Lauren Bushnell Confirm They've Split

Bachelor stars Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have ended their engagement! “It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to go our separate ways,” the couple told People in a statement. “We feel fortunate for the time we had together, and will remain friends with much love and respect for one another. We wish nothing but the best for each other, and ask for your support and understanding at this time.”

As Bachelor fans recall, Ben made serious waves on the show when he told both Lauren and runner up Jojo Fletcher that he loved them. As it turns out, it was not an easy thing for Lauren to get over. "It’s hard to separate what happened long ago and my current feelings,” she told People after the show ended. “It’s confusing. It does wear on me.”
