With Ali Fedotowsky's surprise exit from The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love on Monday night, there are now three women fighting for Jake Pavelka's heart, but Gia Allemand is worried that without falling in love with him, she hasn't got the competitive edge.
About to go to the Caribbean island of St. Lucia for fantasy overnight dates with Jake and her rivals Tenley Molzahn and Vienna Girardi, Gia says, "I hope to fall in love with Jake soon. I hope," she tells Entertainment Tonight.

On a date in Gia's New York hometown, Jake learned from her family why she was so slow to give away her heart — she'd been hurt by a previous boyfriend who cheated on her.
But Gia admits that sharing a man — who could potentially be her future husband — with the other bachelorettes is far from conducive to romance.

"It's a big struggle that I'm dealing with on the show while trying to fall in love with Jake," she admits.
While Jillian Harris on The Bachelorette said Jake was "too perfect," Gia says, "Jake is such a gentleman. He is sweet, genuine and a great person with a great heart."

So what's her plan of action? "I'm not looking at it as winning his heart. I want us to win each others' hearts. I just want us to both really feel that we belong together."
