When Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was seen walking Jenni "JWoww" Farley's dogs, this caused quite a commotion! Granted, it wasn't just her regular ol' dogs but it was their fur which caught all the attention — they currently have pink and purple dyed fur!

This left PETA up in arms. After all, it's not exactly healthy or safe for dogs and it can put them at risk.

A rep for PETA talked to Celebuzz: "Dyeing a companion animal's fur causes the animal stress and can lead to complications or allergic reactions that endanger the animal's health. Our dogs and cats love us regardless of how we look; we should extend the same kindness to them."
Although it's unclear as to the type of dye that was used, Snooki and JWoww's reps haven't responded to PETA's comments just yet.
