Bam Margera Says Ryan Dunn Was a "Manic" Driver: "He Flipped Me in a Car Eight Times"

Bam Margera is continuing to grieve the loss of his best friend Ryan Dunn, who died tragically last week at the age of 34 when his Porsche flew over a guardrail, hit a tree and burst into flames in West Goshen Township, Pa. Now Bam is opening up about a scary car accident he got into with his Jackass co-star more than 10 years ago.
"He flipped me in a car eight times at the same exact spot in 1996," Bam told E! Online in an exclusive interview. "Thank God I had my seat belt on, because Chris Raab put one on me, but my brother didn't have one on. He flew 40 feet. Thank God he's alive. But Dunn was always manic at driving."
"It was pretty much the worst news I've ever heard in my life" he said of hearing about Ryan's death when he was away in Arizona.
Bam also read aloud pieces of the last text-message conversation he'd had with Ryan.
"Stopping for a beer, be there when I can," read the very last message from Ryan to Bam.

"He was my best f***ing friend in the world. It's been five days now and I can't stop crying, man," Bam told E!. "I just don't think it should've been him."
Ryan's death has brought out messages of support and sincere condolences from everyone — including Brad Pitt, Bam noted.
"I think it's rad that, you know, people I talk to rarely, you know, can take the time to text me," he said.
Ryan's blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit when he crashed his Porsche on the Pennsylvania highway, traveling 130 miles an hour, killing himself and production assistant Zachary Hartwell, 30.
