At the Museum of the Moving Image event saluting Tom Cruise, TV icon Barbara Walters was surprisingly good-natured about the news that Rosie O'Donnell, who served up a mammoth heaping of controversy last spring when she ditched Babs' daytime chatfest The View following a feud with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, is working on her own show for MSNBC.

"I think it’s wonderful!" the news legend told TV's Extra. "Rosie is a marvelous talent and when she can do her own show she

will be perfectly happy.”
