NEWSBee Gees' Robin Gibb Dead at 62

Bee Gees star and founder Robin Gibb has died after a battle with colorectal cancer. He was 62.

Robin was central to the Bee Gees' success. He wrote many of the group's biggest hits, including "You Should Be Dancing," "Night Fever," "If I Can't Have You," and, of course, "Stayin' Alive," the song most-identified with Saturday Night Fever.
Robin was hospitalized for pneumonia last year, and also underwent colon surgery at that time.

Robin's twin brother Maurice Gibb died in 2003 after suffering from a blocked intestine and cardiac arrest.
