Benjamin Bratt, 43, wasn’t always a Hollywood hottie. He was once a member of the Lambda Chi fraternity. “You’re but a youth, and you try things out to see if they fit,” he tells me of life in the fraternity. “If they don’t, you jettison them. Fraternity life, for me, was about cheap rent and three square. At the time, a nonstop flowing keg, but that gets old after the first six months. I found the arts early in my college years, and that really became my passion. Everything else was part of growing up.” His movie, Love In The Time of Cholera, is in theaters November 16.
