BET Award Highs: Chris Cries, Prince Gets a Prize

The stars were in LA last night to attend the BET Awards hosted by Queen Latifah at the the Shrine Auditorium. Included were performances by Eminem, Kanye West, Diddy and more! One of the most memorable performances was definitely Chris Brown.

It's hard to believe it's already been a year since the emotional BET Awards right after the death of Michael Jackson. MJ was still included in this year's ceremony, Chris Brown, who won the Fandemonium Award, was brought to tears while performing a tribute to Jackson.

Also honored last night at the awards was Prince, who was presented with BET's Lifetime Achievement Award. He was honored with performances of his songs by Alicia Keys, Janelle Monae, Esperanza Spalding and Patti LaBelle!

Other winners last night include Nicki Minaj for Best New Artist and Best Female Hip Hop, Drake for Best Male Hip Hop, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys for Best Collaboration! Beyonce, who won Video of the Year, continues to dominate the BET Awards and maintains her title with most awards won, but hubby Jay-Z is not too far behind!
