Bethenny Frankel, Baby Will Be “Best Friends”

Bethenny Frankel steals a few hours away from daughter Bryn, 8 months, when she hosts Pampers Gifts To Grow launch event at NYC’s Oasis Day Spa, where guests indulge in massages, facials, manicures and pedicures.
Despite the brief commitment, the married reality star misses her little girl and the cute things they do together.
“I put her in a bow every single day -- and me, too, sometimes,” Bethenny, 40, tells me between spoonfuls of soup. “We wear matching bows.”
Unlike many tots, Bryn loves hair accessories.
“She’s easy with everything. She wears hats. She’s not dressed up in tutus or anything crazy, but she has her little bow. It’s her signature.”
And that’s not all.
“She says 'ma ma ma,'” Bethenny says. “She has a tooth coming in … she sits up, she laughs, she sleeps through the night. I took her to a couple singing classes. We have fun. When we’re on my tour bus promoting Pampers Gifts To Grow, we sing The Wheels On The Bus. We have a good time. I want to be with her every single second of the day. She giggles. She giggles for days. I make her laugh a lot. We sit in the mirror and we look. We sing songs. Everything is a precious moment with a baby. Everything.”
Now that Bryn is in the picture, Bethenny’s “me” time is rare. She pampers herself with baths and naps as soon as Bryn goes down for a nap, and manages to fit yoga into her busy schedule a few times a week.
“Except sometimes with the baby I have the Exersaucer next to the yoga, so it’s not entirely fair,” she says.
Still, Bethenny wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I am always with my daughter, or at home, so she’s with me all the time,” she says. “When I’m on conference calls, she’s with me. When I’m writing my book, she’s with me. When I’m on my tour, on the tour bus, she’s with me and my husband. We’re together a lot, and I’m spoiled because even on days like today, if I have to take a couple hours without her, I don’t like it. But this is for an amazing cause, and I’ve used Pampers on her since the day she was born. I can give back to them a little, too.”
There is no doubt that Bethenny values spending time with her baby girl.
“We’re never going to get these moments back. You will not get them back. The only thing you can’t change is time, and I do appreciate every single moment with her. I remember them. Everyone says it will fly by. Take pictures, and soak it all in. Steal kisses. I’m taking that advice to heart.”
As Bryn has gotten older, Bethenny has seen their relationship grow.

“We know each other. We have a connection. She knows who I am … that’s been going on for awhile though. She calls for me in the morning now. We’re going to be little best friends.”
The little one has certainly changed her life with hubby Jason Hoppy. The couple will celebrate their one-year anniversary in March with a trip to the Caribbean.
“We’re a team,” she says. “We’re very much in love. We’re a very happy family. We are all one big posse that travels together, and if one goes, we all go.”
What’s the most helpful parenting tip she can share?
“Take every single moment like it’s the only moment, and when you get frustrated and when you don’t have a minute for yourself, know that you can’t get that moment back. Put all the love into the baby because you should appreciate it.”
Lucky for Bethenny, Pampers Gifts To Grow is a cause she can fully support.
“It’s talking about parents as unsung heroes, which they are. Parents are underappreciated and it’s the most difficult job in the world. To balance it is daunting and impossible -- yet so rewarding. I think it’s great that Pampers is rewarding parents back.”
And now it’s time for that facial.
Here’s my pic with Bethenny:
Bethenny supports the Pampers Gifts to Grow program, which celebrates the wonderful things parents do every day for babies and their families that make them real, unsung heroes. Gifts to Grow rewards parents for the purchases they make each day by allowing them to accrue points and redeem them for desired items.
