Ever since they began dating in 2002, reports and rumors of a wedding between Beyoncé and her hip-hop impresario beau Jay-Z have continued to pop up, and today's news is no exception.

According to online reports, the "Baby Boy" singer and the oft-retired rapper took out a marriage license in the upscale New York town of Scarsdale on Tuesday morning, implying that a march down the aisle is only days away.

However, a rep for the former Destiny's Child front-woman tells OK! that the rumors are "false," which means that this is either the second matrimonial red herring of the week, following the Brangelina fiasco, or the couple is doing their best to keep a lid on the big event.
