A backstage video was released today featuring Beyoncé and her crew planning her big, bad return to the stage at Revel resort in Atlantic City, NJ this weekend. The singer took some time off before and after the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy Carter this January, but is itching to get back to her performing roots.
The video shows Bey belting out a song, complaining she "hasn't sang in a year," working with a choreographer to get back into shape and pitching ideas about lighting and stage design.
"Don't over-choreograph!" she tells her instructor. "I actually have to sing this song...I think we need to simplify."
She admits to being a "little nervous" about this weekend, but also excited.

"It's important that … you have your own passion," she says. "What I'm trying to say at this show is 'Yeah, I just had a baby, but it just made me more grounded and more like you.' "
Well, with a combined annual income of $72 million with husband Jay-Z, we doubt Beyoncé is really "more like" her fans (well, maybe Gwyneth Paltrow), but it's a nice thought.
