Beyoncé Reads Letter to First Lady Michelle Obama in New Ad

A few months ago, Beyoncé took to her Tumblr account to pen a letter of admiration to first lady Michelle Obama. Well, fast-forward to this month, and the new mama has ramped things up a notch with a video endorsement.

In the spot, Beyoncé reads the letter she wrote. "Michelle is the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman." Beyoncé read, adding, "She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time she is the First Lady. No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope, she's humble, loving, and sensitive."

Toward the end of the video, she thanks Michelle for "every single thing that you do for us." Apparently, Michelle's daughters, Sasha and Malia, may agree -- according to The Hollywood Reporter, their mom took them to Beyoncé's concert in Atlantic City over Memorial Day weekend!
