Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z are determined to keep their private lives under wraps, so the "Single Ladies" singer stunned the "Empire State of Mind" rapper with her Grammy speech in which she told him, "I love you."
“He was shocked!” Beyoncé told Access Hollywood. “He was just like, ‘What did you say?’”

And the shy singer added that she couldn’t believe it herself. “I was just like, ‘What did I just do? No, I didn’t just say that,’” she said, explaining that she said the words in the heat of the moment.

“I was so happy, I could’ve said anything,” she said of record-breaking sixth Grammy win, for the Best Female Pop Vocal prize. “That’s why I ran off the stage.”

So how did Jay-Z respond? “He said you have six Grammys and you smell good,” she laughed.
The singer was wearing her new scent, Beyoncé Heat. “This morning I woke up and they told me the fragrance is the number-one fragrance in America,” she said. “I had absolutely no idea.”
