Justin Bieber took the Billboard Music Awards by storm last night taking home three awards — Digital Artist of the Year, Top New Artist and Fan Favorite! And JB wasn't the only young artist who won big. His pal Taylor Swift won two awards, and both young stars couldn't have been more gracious.
Taylor won the first award of the night, Top Album Artist, for Speak Now. She also won Top Country Artist.
"The impact of an album is all determined by the fans," she told the audience when she accepted her first honor. "You've just given me another reason to be completely in love with you."
Justin thanked his fans, his family, his talent manager, Usher, saying "basically everyone who helped me get out of my hometown and live my dream."
The 17-year-old singing sensation also excited the crowd by giving a sweet peck on the lips to his girlfriend Selena Gomez, who sat next to his mom in the audience.
Lady Antebellum, Rihanna and the Black Eyed Peas also took home awards.
Beyoncé was awarded the special Millennium award for her career achievements and was praised in a video by first lady Michelle Obama, Stevie Wonder, Barbara Streisand, Bono and Lady Gaga.
"This is a moment I have to soak in because it's gonna be - and it is - one of the best moments of my life," the 29-year-old superstar said after getting the award from her mother, Tina Knowles. She also performed "Run the World (Girls)" during the show.
