Some sad music from the world of music, as Black Keys musician Richard Swift has died at the age of 41.
His bandmate, Dan Auerbach, confirmed the news on his Instagram Tuesday morning: "Today the world lost one of the most talented musicians I know. He’s now with his Mom and Sister. I will miss you my friend."
A page attributed to Richard also spoke about his passing, posting a photo of him with the caption "And all the angels sing "Que Sera Sera."
Richard was hospitalized last month due to a "serious medical condition," where a GoFundMe page was set up in the process to help raise money for his medical bills. It was reported that he died in Tacoma, Washington.
Richard had a very successful career as a musician prior to his death. He toured with The Black Keys back in 2014 and worked with several other artists including The Shins and Jessie Baylin. He also released seven albums and several EP's during his illustrious musical career. May he rest in peace.
