Blake Shelton performed, "Honey Bee", outside of the plaza of the Today show, while his wife Miranda Lambert was performing "Gun Powder and Lead" in Central Park on Good Morning America. And the husband and wife launched a Twitter war over who would have more viewers!
Blake and Miranda might be newlyweds, but apparently that doesn't mean they have to play nice. Both country singers performed in New York this morning on different networks and they made it into a competition.
"Just sound checked for my Today show performance!!! #blakeTODAY #blakeTODAY #blakeTODAY #blakeTODAY #blakeTODAY!!!!," Blake Tweeted about his performance on Today.
“@blakeshelton: Just sound checked for my Today show performance!!! #blakeTODAY . Well.....so I'm about to soundcheck for #GMAMiranda !" Miranda Tweeted back about her GMA gig.
“@Miranda_Lambert: On set of GMA! Who hoo!” Oh yeah?!! Well I'm on the set of Today!!! Like.. Today!!! I mean like today.. Now?.. You know," her husband responded.
