Bobby Brown Takes the Stage With New Edition After Wife's Hospitalization

Bobby Brown kept his commitment to perform with New Edition last night after his wife, Alicia Etheredge, suffered a seizure and was hospitalized in Orlando, Fla. The performance was part of the 10th Annual Tom Joyner Family Reunion, which New Edition was headlining.

While Bobby was doing a sound check at the venue, Alicia had a seizure and was rushed to the hospital.
"She is recovering and in good spirits. Please keep my family in your prayers," Bobby Tweeted after visiting Alicia. The two tied the knot in June.

As for the show, Bobby took the opportunity to proclaim his sobriety. "“I’m seven and a half years off of narcotics, 21 days clean of alcohol, and I go by the name Bad Ass Bobby Brown," he said. RadarOnline.com reported that Bobby entered court-mandated rehab last month and stayed for just over two weeks.
