Bode Miller’s youngest daughter Emeline has died after drowning at a pool party on Sunday.

According to reports, first responders were called to the scene and administered CPR on the 19-month-old before she was taken to the hospital, where she later died.

Bode confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing several smiling photos of his daughter.

“We are beyond devastated,” the U.S. Olympian began. “Our baby girl, Emmy, passed away yesterday. Never in a million years did we think we would experience a pain like this. Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten. Our little girl loved life and lived it to its fullest everyday. Our family respectfully requests privacy during this painful time.”
