Forearm Plank
Step 1: Lie on your forearms, elbows under your shoulders and hands clasped. Lift up onto the balls of your feet, forming a straight line from your head to your heels.
Step 2: Engaging your core and legs the entire time, hold in a static position, taking several deep breaths, for 30 to 60 seconds.
Side Plank
Step 1: Lie on your side, your elbow under your shoulder and your feet stacked. Lift your hips up as high as possible, forming a straight line from head to heels.
Step 2: Once you feel stable, lift your top leg straight up, engaging your core and glutes throughout the movement. Hold position for 30 to 60 seconds on each side.
