Betty now has a two-book deal, the Associated Press reports, starting in 2011 with her first book, Listen Up!
On Wednesday, the publisher announced the book will include what Betty has learned over "her "her incredibly varied, decades-long career in Hollywood" about life, love, sex and celebrity.

The second book, according to The New York Time's ArtsBeat, is called The Zoo and I and will include stories about Betty and the animals at the Los Angeles Zoo, where she is a board member. The Zoo and I is set for publication in 2010.
“Much as I love what I do for a living in show business, I love writing even more,” Betty said in a statement, having already written or co-authored five books.
