Boys and Babies

I just got home from drinks with a boy, a boy who’s my age who explained to me he doesn’t like to date women, ehem, girls, older than 25 ‘well, because women mature faster than men so I think there should be an age gap.’ Thankfully he added (probably after seeing the question expression on my face), ‘Well, some guys.’ Exactly.
Anyway…that was the extent of my night tonight. After pulling the expected all-nighter after Golden Globes soirees Sunday I slept 12 hours last night and am now saving myself for Sundance. It’s shaping up to be a bit sub-par celeb-wise than previous years, but I’m hoping for the unexpected.
In other news, Biggest Loser host (and 16-year Days of Our Lives veteran) Alison Sweeney had her baby today. When I spoke to her last week she told me she was craving pickles and sugar-free hot chocolate, at the same time. Do those cravings just go away once you give birth? I wonder if someone has a diet of pickles and hot chocolate for the better part of nine months and grows accustomed to the combination as normal finds it as odd as the rest of us post-birth? Just wondering.
