Brandi Glanville — the estranged ex-wife of LeAnn Rimes' husband Eddie Cibrian — was handed a hefty promotion by the Bravo network this week. Instead of appearing next year as a "friend of the housewives" she will return for season three as a full-time cast member.

Insiders say producers were thrilled at how Brandi managed to snatch ample amounts of air time by fighting with Kim and Kyle Richards and Taylor Armstrong. Viewers really responded to her, they say.

"You can expect plenty of drama and 'oh no' moments! Brandi really knows how to bring it and she's going to add some real glamour and sparkle to the new season," the source told RadarOnline.com.

Brandi, who was catapuled into the limelight after her husband openly cheated on her with LeAnn, is said to be "thrilled."
