Brandy’s Daughter Loves to Read

Brandy enjoys being a mom to daughter Sy'rai, 5, whose father is her ex, Robert Smith.

“It’s great,” the 29-year-old singer/actress says. “It’s so much fun. I’m learning so much about myself and her. Patience.”

What does her daughter like these days?

“She's learning how to read because she’s in kindergarten. She wants to read everything. She thinks she can read everything.”

Brandy is recording a new record, which she calls “one of my best albums yet.”
