'Breaking Dawn' Sex Scene More About Romance Than "Hot-and-Heavy Action," Director Says

Kristen Stewart recently revealed that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 originally got an R rating due to the sex scene and it had to be re-cut. Now, director Bill Condon is explaining how he had to handle the sex scene and adjust it to make it PG-13.

"It's almost clinical the kind of strict guidelines the MPAA have about anything that appears to be — how do I put it delicately?" Bill asked MTV News. "That appears to be, let's call it thrusting. In fact, you know, it was so much more about romance than it was about hot-and-heavy action, so it was a very kind of simple adjustment to make."

"It's probably most weird for them I would imagine," Bill said with a laugh. "The thing is they are so comfortable with each other so they made the whole thing — it was kind of fun."
