Sad and tragic news for this holiday weekend. TMZ is reporting that actor Paul Walker was killed this afternoon in a car accident in Southern California. Details are still coming but sources say he was in a Porsche GT when it lost control, slammed into what was either a post or a tree and burst into flames.

It's reported that Paul was in the car with an unknown person driving it. Paul had been in the Santa Clarita area for a car show in support of the Philippines typhoon relief effort. He had been taking friends out for spins in his new Porsche GT during the show and the deadly accident occurred during one of those rides.
