Heartbreaking news for fans of the movies everywhere: Legendary film critic Roger Ebert has passed away at age 70 after a battle with cancer.
The news comes just one day after Roger announced that he would be taking a "leave of presence" from work, still writing reviews but with the help of a team. His film reviews first began running in the Chicago Sun-Times on April 3, 1967, and his reach later extended to a national television show. He published more than 15 books, and was even awarded a Pulitzer Prize for criticism, a first for film criticism. He also got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
