Bristol Palin Admits She Was "Naive" To Take Back Levi Johnston

Bristol Palin has admitted she made a mistake by reuniting with Levi Johnston, her high school boyfriend and father of her baby son, Tripp, just days after the pair broke off their engagement.

“Perhaps I was naive, but I really thought Levi was ready," Bristol tells Radar Online.

"I see that Levi's people equate me with a Bridezilla. This is not about me,” she added. “This was about doing what was best for Tripp and making us a family."

Most recently, Bristol was “heartbroken” about the possibility that Levi fathered a child with another former girlfriend Lanesia Garcia.

Levi is “doing well and is upbeat” since the news of their split went public, a source close to the Alaskan told the Web site. “They are both giving it space,” the source said.

Bristol, 19, revealed yesterday, "It's over. I broke up with him", reports PopEater. Her relationship with Levi reportedly began to suffer the same day couple appeared on the front of a weekly magazine, when he told Bristol he may have fathered a child with another girl.

"There's been no remorse," Bristol says. "The final straw was him flying to Hollywood for what he told me was to see some hunting show, but come to find out it was that music video mocking my family. He's just obsessed with the limelight and I got played."
