Things are starting to improve for Britney Spears in the new year (after news that her conservatorship had been extended upset the superstar). The pop princess has renewed her partnership with Candie’s brand, which is only featured at Kohl’s department stores, and will appear in their 2010 campaigns for the line.
“I had a great experience working with Candie’s and Kohl’s last year and I am thrilled to be asked to sign on again for a second year. We’re planning some very cool photo shoots and I can’t wait for my fans to see them,” Brit said of her renewed contract with the brand, announced today by Iconix Brand Group, Inc, and posted on Brit’s Web site.
The chief marketing officer of Iconix, Dari Marder stated, “We had such a successful year with Britney in 2009 that we wanted to keep the momentum going and offer our Candie’s customers new, exciting campaigns with Britney in 2010. Britney has been a great partner, truly embracing the brand, and we know her fans worldwide will love what we have coming next.”
Kohl’s could not be more excited to feature Britney in their ad campaigns. Brit was one of the first female role model celebrities to launch the Candie’s campaign. Hayden Panettiere has also been featured as a Candie’s girl.
The details and launch of the spring 2010 Candie’s marketing campaign only at Kohl’s will released next month.
Britney has recently finished her world tour, “The Circus Starring Britney Spears”, which Candie’s and Kohl’s were associate sponsors.
