Britney Tweeted on Friday to her fans, "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo."
And now we know why she was so excited to show it off — it's gorgeous!
Earlier reports claimed Britney's ring was a 3-carat Neil Lane diamond, but a source close to the couple tells OK! the ring is actually 4 carats.
According to the source, the clarity is flawless and the color is D (white).

Jason confirmed their engagement to Access Hollywood on Friday, saying, "Yes, we are engaged."
He also added that he is "over the moon, as is she."

"Still glowing!" she wrote. "About to jump on a plane to Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Throwing a Bday Party for Jason at Chateau Night Club. So fun. Xxoo"
And Britney and Jason, who celebrated his 40th birthday, showed off her new ring for photographers.
