Britney Spears to Perform at Teen Choice Awards

With a few weeks lull between legs of her ongoing world concert tour, Britney Spears needs something to do — and there are only so many times she can go to Starbucks or re-color her hair. So that's why the pop superstar has confirmed she'll be performing at this weekend's Teen Choice Awards.

Britney, who is nominated for three awards, was actually one of the performers at the very first Teen Choice Awards in 1999.

The ceremony, which airs Monday night on Fox at 8/7pm ET/CT, but is actually going to be pre-taped on Sunday night, will also feature performances by, among others, the Black Eyed Peas, the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus.
