Britney Tries, Fails to Leave House

Britney Spears may have left the hospital under police escort this morning (), but it looks like the pop star will — at least for the moment — not be going anywhere.

OK! has confirmed the pop star attempted to leave her gated community, The Summit, just after noon on Saturday, but she got only as far as The Summit's gate, where she discovered a swarm of paparazzi waiting for her outside and flipped a U-turn.

Lil sis’ Jamie Lynn Spears, who !, was also at the house this morning with Britney, but has since split.
