Caraderie is in short supply on Britney Spears’ Circus tour.
The pop star’s father and legal conservator, Jamie Spears, has given everyone involved in the extravaganza — which kicked off March 3 in New Orleans — strict orders: Don’t talk to Britney!
“Jamie’s idea of controlling his uncontrollable daughter is to control the people around her,” a source tells OK!.
“The dancers aren’t even allowed to address her during rehearsal breaks.”

Although none other than Madonna will support Brit with guest performances during the tour, friends and family fear it’s too much too soon.
“Her future is at stake, so she can’t afford to have anything go wrong,” a Spears-family insider tells OK!.
Meanwhile, Circus set designers are helping prepare for the worst.
“The spectators will focus on the special effects,” another source says. “Britney doesn’t have to sing or dance exceptionally well, she just has to keep it together.”
