Broke A$$ Game Show’s David Magidoff And Derek Gaines Reveal Which Celebrity They Want To Appear On The Show!

Everyone’s favorite game show hosts, David Magidoff and Derek Gaines, are back for a second season of MTV’s hit series Broke A$$ Game Show!

OKMagazine.com: What is the craziest thing contestants have done for money this season?

David Magidoff: We just drew a circle in the middle of Times Square and people had to stand in the middle of the circle. These giant balloons filled with money would drop over them and bust and fall down on them. But you can’t stand in the circle unless you’re fully naked. Happy nude year!

Derek Gaines: Twelve people were walking around with absolutely nothing on. We had to tell them to cover their junk! Everybody was just in the buff.

OKMagazine.com: New Yorkers aren’t the friendliest people. Has anyone threatened to fight you?

Derek: How about every day!

David: The other day in Greenpoint, we were playing a game where Derek and I both had all these pockets on our shirts and people had to dig through all of our pockets to find a hundred dollar bill. One guy literally manhandled me! He threw me to the ground, looking for pockets, looking for the hundred-dollar bill. I think he had said he had just gotten out of prison!

OKMagazine.com: If you could chose any celebrity to play Broke A** Game Show with, who would it be?

David: Russell Crowe!

Derek: He tweeted, “How funny is that Broke A$$ Game Show?"

OKMagazine.com: Which game would you play with him?

David: Some game where he would be in charge because he’s a master and commander! We did play a game called Cash Canoe. It’s basically like Cash Cab. One guy in our art department used his dad’s old canoe and they added four wheels and a buzzer. I had a little spray bottle of water to make you feel like you were on the seven seas!

OKMagazine.com: Why should people who haven’t watched season one watch the show?

Derek: Because we have created a new facet of funny and we have chemistry. On top of that, we’re playing games that people would never dream of doing. The show is just jammed-packed with so much fun stuff. It’s just fun to watch. You don’t have to think about anything serious cause this show is so far from serious!
