After living in a rehab center for three months, Brooke Mueller has been released. Charlie Sheen's ex-wife was arrested in December in Aspen, Colo., on assault and cocaine charges, and she has been released from the Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah.
Her rep told RadarOnline, "After successfully completing an intensive three-month drug and alcohol treatment program, Brooke returned to Los Angeles yesterday and has immediately begun an aggressive outpatient program that includes a sober companion. Brooke is feeling better than ever before, and is committed to continuing treatment for as long as necessary to maintain her total and complete sobriety."
In fact, an inside source told RadarOnline the mother of twin boys finally "recognizes that she needed to surrender to the disease and admit she was powerless to it."
Considering her previous rehab stays weren't long-term like this stint, the source adds, "Brooke is very [hopeful] for her future, and wants to focus on her recovery and sobriety and being the best mom she can be to her twin toddler boys."
Little Bob and Max will turn 3 in March.
