Brooke Shields: Chocolate is Like Sex
Jan. 29 2009, Published 10:39 a.m. ET
Brooke Shields is overwhelmed by the scent of chocolate during the Wednesday launch of the Godiva Chocolate Decadence Suite stationed inside NYC's Bryant Park Hotel.
“It is true that chocolate, laughter and sex all release the same endorphins, so you can imagine what’s going to be going on in this room,” the former supermodel, 43, says. “It’s going to be great!”
As daughters Rowan, 5, and Grier, 2, are entertained in the other rooms, the Lipstick Jungle star thinks back to her most coveted Valentine’s Day gift: chocolate.
“My whole life I’ve always wanted Godiva chocolates, which I’ve gotten in the past from some good guys. That’s usually how I judge them.”
Brooke, who married Chris Henchy in 2001, is in awe of the Jonathan Adler-decorated room. Almost everything is chocolate!
“It’s artistic, it’s delicious, and it makes me hungry just walking in the room. I’m in awe. It’s so delicious.”
She laughs, “They should’ve called it a 'sweet' instead of a 'suite,' eh? See? I went to school.”

Ooh! Not only is Godiva chocolate on the walls, but it's also stacked in the dining room. There’s a chocolate-fruit kabob, and dishes filled with the cocoa treat. Bonus: I take home a box of 70 assorted chocolates and truffles. Mmm! I can’t wait to dig into the stash.
