Two women were injured by bulls escaping from the Spanish set of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz's new action comedy Knight & Day.

Seven bulls used on the movie, which is also known as Wichita, broke free from the set in the Spanish city of Cadiz and ran through the streets before being captured on a nearby beach, says the Associated Press.

Filming was set to begin today but has been postponed until further notice.

Tom, 47, and Cameron, 37, weren't on the set at the time but they're expected in Spain this weekend, reports the BBC.

"Nothing will be filmed in Cadiz until we have a new plan that guarantees the safety of local residents," a spokesman for the city's mayor told Spain's Diario de Cadiz newspaper.

The film's Spanish producer Calle Cruzada said he did not know how the bulls managed to escape.

This isn't the first time people have been injured on a Tom Cruise movie, 11 extras suffered a variety of injuries after falling out of a truck while filming Valkyrie.
