Caitlyn Jenner is supporting Russia!
As RadarOnline.com has learned, the trans star is standing by the homophobic nation during this 2018 World Cup. Why? Because Irish company Paddy Power is humiliating Vladimir Putin’s country by donating 10,000 Lira to an LGBTQ charity of choice every time the Russian soccer team scores a goal!
“Given they invented Russian Dolls, you’d be forgiven for thinking Russia wouldn’t have an issue with women being into other women,” said the spokesman for Paddy Power, explaining why they are choosing to stand against the known homophobic ruler and his country.
“Likewise, their appreciation for bears is one shared around the world by the LGBT+ population, so it really is astonishing that they have not used their stewardship of this tournament to champion LGBT+ inclusivity.”
The company’s wild World Cup campaign is called From Russia To Equal Love. While its goal is to provide support for LGBTQ charities everywhere, it’s more mischievous objective is to humiliate Russia amid their openly anti-gay society.
“As a result, we’ve stepped in to help. When Russia Put-in a goal, we’ll Put-in £10,000 to Attitude Magazine’s Foundation, who will use the funds to make football more LGBT+ inclusive. I cannot wait to see the LGBT+ community get behind the Russians – or the Russians’ baffled reaction!” added the spokesman.
As Radar has learned, Caitlyn Jenner, 68, is not the only star to be backing the strangely inspiring movement, various other LGBTQ celebrities and advocates like Rugby Union legend Gareth Thomas and swimmer Mark Foster have also joined the cause. International rugby referee Nigel Owens, England women’s internationals Lianne Sanderson and Jordan Nobbs, England cricketer Danni Wyatt, actor Christopher Biggins and choreographer Louie Spence are also standing by Paddy Power.
The famous LGBTQ supporters are even calling themselves “Rainbow Russians!”

As Radar readers know, Russia—where the World Cup will take place this year—has various strict anti-gay laws and unspoken social decrees. There are many horror stories of same-sex couples being jailed, beaten and even killed after being spotted showing affection in public, or after being discovered as gay, bi or trans.
Families of queer individuals are worried for their safety as they head to support their soccer teams at the 2018 World Cup.
Irish company Paddy Power, however, is putting its foot down when it comes to anti-gay behavior at the athletic event.
“When Paddy Power approached us with this idea we leapt at the chance. The LGBT+ community has a long history of reclaiming and adopting behaviours, words and styles that were intended to discriminate against us, so for this tournament we’re adopting Russia,” Darren Styles OBE, publisher of Attitude, said.
“The World Cup is meant to be about inclusivity, but thanks to the hosts – and those who chose the hosts – this tournament (and the next, in Qatar) is taking place in a nation with laws that discriminate against the LGBT+ population,” Styles added.
“This is completely unacceptable and, therefore, we welcome the opportunity to benefit from Russia’s success and make unwitting allies of their national team. It will be hugely satisfying to see a goal from Russia send a message of equal love.”
