Although Caleb Followill cited the extreme heat in Dallas as a reason for his abrupt exit in the middle of Friday night’s Kings of Leon concert, it became clear that there were other issues involved in his stage departure when his brothers and band mates took to Twitter the next day to clarify.
The morning after Caleb cut the band’s live show short, Jared Followill first reiterated how much he loves his loyal fans and tweeted, “I know you guys aren't stupid. I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade."

The guitarist clarified that it was not just the intense weather the made Caleb want to stop performing for the night, but that there were also “internal sicknesses & problems” among the four band members.
Nathan Followill was not at all amused by the incident, tweeting on Saturday that he was, “ashamed & embarrassed” by his sibling’s unexpected walk-off.
