CAN SEINFELD SAVE 30 ROCK?

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld has always been a huge fan of Superman, co-starring with the Man of Steel in a number of American Express commercials and often featuring the character in the background of his legendary NBC sitcom. Now, at age 53, the actor finally gets a chance to save the day - though he won't be wearing a cape - when he guest stars on NBC's critically acclaimed but ratings challenged sitcom 30 Rock this fall. And the show's writer and star Tina Fey couldn't be happier about Jerry swooping in to offer his star power to the show. With Seinfeld making his TV comeback, 'regular America might actually find out that we have a show and watch it,' she tells OK!. 'It's really nice of him to do it. We're very flattered.' Meanwhile, Fey and producer Lorne Michaels said Alec Baldwin - who talked about giving up his role 30 Rock after unflattering, angry voicemails left on his daughter Ireland's phone became public - will indeed be back in his role of TV executive Jack Donaghy.By: Carole GlinesPhoto: Wireimage.com
