NEWS'Captain America' Role: Channing Tatum In, Chace Crawford Out

Channing Tatum has been added to the list of Hollywood hotties competing for the role of Captain America, but the gossip on Chace Crawford is that he's already out.

Sadly, Gossip Girl star Chace has Tweeted that he's out of the race for the role of Captain America.

But, Channing will join the remaining men who are being considered for the part, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Young and the Restless star and Wilson Blethel and She's Out of My League star Mike Vogel have screen-tested for the role and Chris Evans, star of Fantastic Four, has read for the part.

Channing has only been approached for the role right now and hasn't seen a script yet, much like the rumored consideration for the female role!
Keira Knightely was reportedly approached last week to be considered for the role of Betsy Ross.
